Under nourishment/ mal nutrition has always been a malaise in the slums. Although poverty could be the one reason, the study conducted by the society reveled lack of knowledge among the women regarding low cost nutritive diet, also to be the strong factor resulting in the situation. In order to create awareness, the society organized low cost nutrition diet demonstration at different slums. At such demonstration, dishes were taught to the women provided by the society.
